HS Preseason Scrimmage Classic is designed to give high school programs, both Varsity and Junior Varsity, a competitive, game-like day of preparation. Fully organized from start to finish by PSE, the event minimizes the workload for coaches and administrators while maximizing the value of this critical preseason opportunity.

Format: 11 vs 11 full field
Surface: In-fill Turf, Lighted
Games: 4 x 25 minutes games
Team Eligibility: Varsity or Junior Varsity for the 2026 academic year
Divisions/Pools: Varsity & Junior Varsity Pools of play
Athlete Eligibility: Eligible to play for the registered high school for the 2026 academic year

Refund Policy

Timeline
Refunds will be issued 30 days after the last scheduled day of the tournament
Credits will be issued 30 days after the last scheduled day of the Tournament and will be valid for1 year or 12 months from the last scheduled day of Shooting Star Tournament.
HS Preseason Scrimmage Day: A $300.00 non- refundable/non- transferable deposit is required
All balances DUE for events will be processed on specific dates for each event.
Pandemic Cancelation Policy
Should the event be cancelled due to federal mandates related to a pandemic, all teams will be credited the full amount paid for the tournament fee MINUS a $100.00 processing/administrative charge. These credits will be applied in the corresponding League Apps account to be eligible for any future PSE events.
PSE or its’ staff will not be responsible for any expenses incurred by any individual, team, club or organization if the tournament is canceled in whole or in part.
Rescheduled Events
Should PSE need to reschedule an event the Refund Policy below will be adhered to relative to the NEW date being offered.
Refund Policy- WHEN THE CLUB CHOOSES TO WITHDRAW
Any withdrawals or cancelations on the Clubs behalf prior to the tournament will continue to follow the established Refund Policy stated.
All requests for cancellation/refund must be made in writing to info@performancesportevents.com
Upon registering, Clubs have held their spot with a $300.00 NON-REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT/NON- TRANSFERABLE. This deposit is non-refundable for ANY reason, including any “Act of God.” The only exception is the stated Pandemic Cancelation Policy above.
Fees paid, EXCLUDING the $300.00 NON-REFUNDABLE/NON-TRANSFERABLE DEPOSIT, will be refunded if notice of cancellation is received PRIOR to the date established for team balances to be processed for the tournament.
No refunds of any kind will be granted if cancellation is made AFTER the date established for team balances to be processed for the tournament. This also holds true even when the Shooting Star staff have a waitlist of teams for that event.
Once the tournament fee is paid in full and the date of balances processed has passed, all funds paid are non-refundable. This policy includes injury, illness, family commitments, late arrivals or early departures & expulsion from the tournament.
